26-PI3 (May 12 – July 6, 2026) improved the reliability and transition path for CAIP Offboard v1/v1.5 customers while advancing CAIP Offboard v2 model governance, agent development, self-service, Apps, and Workflows. The delivered capabilities make it easier to operate existing workloads securely and build new AI applications on CAIP Offboard v2.
26-PI2 (March 17 – May 11, 2026) strengthened the daily development experience in CAIP Offboard v1/v1.5 and brought major new CAIP Offboard v2 services into production. The PI combines more reliable notebooks and pipelines with a re-architected LLM API, the first public Agents Foundry and Apps releases, and a more capable portal.
26-PI1 (January 20 – March 16, 2026) made CAIP Offboard v1/v1.5 easier to observe and manage while expanding CAIP Offboard v2's LLM API choices and portal administration. Customers can use more of the platform with less setup, from Kubeflow dashboards to multimodal model access.
25-PI6 (October 21, 2025 – January 12, 2026) made MLflow a default part of Managed Kubeflow and expanded CAIP Offboard v2 with richer capabilities for agents, workflows, portal access, and multimodal LLM use.
We are happy to announce an important change in how you access AWS accounts and CAIP resources: the legacy AWS CLI and BMWAWS CLI login functionality have been deprecated. From now on, all authentication and access management will be handled via the new orbit-use CLI, provided by our Orbit colleagues.
We are announcing the removal of Amazon Bedrock access from the CAIP Managed Platform. As part of this change, the Bedrock:InvokeModel action will be removed from all policies within our scope.
25-PI5 (August 26 – October 20, 2025) launched Managed Kubeflow in China and advanced CAIP Offboard v1/v1.5 pipeline, experiment-tracking, CAIP SDK agent, and Live Inference capabilities, while CAIP Offboard v2 added customer-facing API and portal controls.
25-PI4 (July 1 – August 25, 2025) launched Managed Kubeflow in EMEA, improved CAIP Offboard v1/v1.5 agent development and notebook access, and extended LLM API availability and compatibility for more customer use cases.
